Jonathan Taylor is the Director of Government and Political Affairs for the National Waste & Recycling Association. As a part of NWRA’s government affairs team, Jonathan monitors legislative priorities on the state and federal level to help create strategies for our industry’s priorities.

Alongside working with NWRA, Jonathan is also a Second Lieutenant in the DC Army National Guard serving as a Medical Service Corps officer. Before joining NWRA, Jonathan was the public policy intern at the Industrial Minerals Association of North America, the regulatory and recalls intern at Mercedes-Benz USA and an intern for MP Connor Burns in The Parliament of the United Kingdom.

Jonathan is a graduate of The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina, with a degree in Political Science and Pre-Law concentration.
