WASTE MANAGEMENT RECOGNIZED BY CORPORATE RESPONSIBILITY MAGAZINE FOR ENVIRONMENTAL, SOCIAL, AND GOVERNANCE PERFORMANCE
Arlington, VA – Waste Management has been named to Corporate Responsibility Magazine’s prestigious 100 Best Corporate Citizens list for the fifth consecutive year.
“On behalf of the National Waste and Recycling Association (NWRA), I congratulate Waste Management, an NWRA member, on this well-earned recognition. Waste Management is a model of good corporate citizenship and I am glad that their efforts were recognized,” said NWRA President and CEO Darrell Smith.
Since 1999, the 100 Best Corporate Citizens has ranked the 1,000 largest companies for environmental, social, and governance disclosure and performance.
The National Waste and Recycling Association represents the private sector waste and recycling services industry. Association members conduct business in all 50 states, and include companies that manage garbage, recycling and medical waste, equipment manufacturers and distributors, and a variety of other service providers.
