About the speaker: Ed Foulke is a partner in the Atlanta office and the Washington, D.C. Metro office located in Arlington, Virginia. He co-chairs the firm's Workplace Safety and Catastrophe Management Practice Group. Prior to joining Fisher Phillips, Ed was the Assistant Secretary of Labor for Occupational Safety and Health. Named by President George W. Bush to head the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), he served from April 2006 to November 2008. During his tenure at OSHA, workplace injury, illness and fatality rates dropped to their lowest levels in recorded history.

About the speaker: Nathan Brainard joined Insurance Office of America in 2005 and quickly became interested in representing companies with any type of environmental exposure, from manufacturing to Superfund clean-up. He is responsible for establishing the corporation's Environmental Division, and his client list has grown to include, but is not limited to: recycling centers, landfills, oil & energy, trans-loading operations, material recovery facilities, asbestos and soil abatement services, demolition contractors, construction, residential and commercial waste collection companies, water treatment facilities, and portable toilet/septic companies. Nathan is endorsed by the National Waste & Recycling Association (NWRA) as their exclusive insurance solutions provider.

About the speaker: Adrienne joined CVSA in 2011 as CVSA's director of policy and government affairs. For 4 years, Adrienne represented the Alliance on Capitol Hill, assisting with policy and messaging, and working on behalf of the membership to advance commercial motor vehicle safety. In 2016, Adrienne was promoted to deputy executive director. Adrienne has more than 10 years in the transportation policy field. Prior to joining CVSA, Adrienne was a senior associate at a public affairs firm, where she managed a national freight advocacy coalition. Adrienne is a graduate of Tulane University with a bachelor's degree in political science and English, and a minor in philosophy.

About the speaker: Originally from Southington, Conn., Nate Smith currently serves as Vice President of Government Relations for the American Traffic Safety Services Association (ATSSA) where he manages ATSSA's Washington, DC legislative office focusing on federal, state and grassroots advocacy, government relations-related communications, advocacy strategy, and PAC management. Prior to arriving at ATSSA, Smith was a lobbyist for the National Court Reporters Association, a congressional intern for former U.S. Rep. Tom Allen of Maine, and participated extensively on the John Kerry for President campaign in New Hampshire. Active with the American Society of Association Executives, Smith serves as Chair of the ASAE Public Policy Committee, past chair of the ASAE Fly-In Task Force, and a member of the ASAE PAC Committee. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Irish American Democrats Political Action Committee.
