NWRA Urges COVID-19 Tests for Businesses and Work Sites
Joins National Safety Council and Other Associations on Letter to White House
Arlington, VA – The National Waste & Recycling Association (NWRA) joined the National Safety Council and other trade associations on a letter to the White House urging the federal government to make COVID-19 testing available to employers maintaining operations during the health crisis.
“We urge the federal government to provide testing resources to essential businesses that continue to operate. Without access to testing, employees may be asymptomatic and spread the disease to co-workers and the public,” said NWRA President and CEO Darrell Smith.
