The Foundation develops resources, supports research, and advances public outreach efforts to enhance understanding of safety, sustainability, innovation, and workforce development within the industry.

When a facility goes up in flames, trash and recycling services can be shut down for weeks or even months. The good news? Battery fires are easy to prevent.

The National Waste & Recycling Foundation has established a scholarship program for current member company employees or their dependents who plan to continue their education in college.
