ARLINGTON, VA – The National Waste & Recycling Association (NWRA) today announced the promotion of LaWanda Washington from vice president of administration and internal operations to senior vice president of administration and events, recognizing her nearly three decades of dedicated service and leadership within the association.
Washington has been a cornerstone of NWRA since joining the organization in 1998. In her expanded role, she will continue to oversee administration, internal operations, and information technology while taking on strategic leadership of NWRA’s meetings, events, and operational execution across the association.
