NWRA’s Safety Monday Reminds Drivers to Watch for Children and Obey Local Traffic Laws
Arlington, VA – The National Waste & Recycling Association (NWRA) Safety Monday for this week, presented by FCC Environmental Services, urges drivers to know where schools are on their routes, watch for children and follow local traffic laws related to school buses.
“This time of year, we share the road with school buses. It is important that our drivers watch for children who might be nearby and follow all traffic laws related to school buses,” said Kirk Sander, chief of staff and vice president of safety and standards for NWRA.
“We are pleased to provide this industry-renowned safety resource to anyone who requests it,” said NWRA President and CEO Darrell Smith. “You do not need to be a member of NWRA to receive it.”
