NWRA’s Safety Monday Offers Tips to Reduce Cold Stress
Arlington, VA – The National Waste & Recycling Association (NWRA) Safety Monday for this week, presented by LRS, offers tips to avoid cold stress.
“It is very cold in many parts of the country this time of year,” said Kirk Sander, chief of staff and vice president of safety and standards for NWRA. “It is important that waste collection workers understand the risk factors for cold stress and what they can do to prevent it.”
“We are pleased to provide this industry-renowned safety resource to anyone who requests it,” said NWRA President and CEO Darrell Smith. “You do not need to be a member of NWRA to receive it.”
