NWRA Reminds Waste Collection Workers that Housekeeping is Everyone’s Responsibility
Arlington, VA – The National Waste & Recycling Association (NWRA) Safety Monday for this week, presented by Ankeny Sanitation, reminds waste collection workers to keep a safe workspace.
“It is important to secure items in your vehicle as well as your workspace,” said Kirk Sander, chief of staff and vice president of safety and standards for NWRA. “A clean and organized workspace is important for a safe workplace.”
“We are pleased to provide this industry-renowned safety resource to anyone who requests it,” said NWRA President and CEO Darrell Smith. “You do not need to be a member of NWRA to receive it.”
