NWRA Reminds Waste Collection Drivers to “Mind Your Path”
Arlington, VA – The National Waste & Recycling Association (NWRA) Safety Monday for this week, presented by Republic Services, reminds waste collection drivers to drive safely.
“As the weather improves and people begin to travel more, it is important our drivers are safe on the road,” said Kirk Sander, chief of staff and vice president of safety and standards for NWRA. “We urge drivers to keep their eyes on the road, hands on the wheel and mind on what’s ahead.”
“We are pleased to provide this industry-renowned safety resource to anyone who requests it,” said NWRA President and CEO Darrell Smith. “You do not need to be a member of NWRA to receive it.”
