NWRA’s Kentucky Chapter Recognized by Senator Rand Paul on Senate Floor
Arlington, VA – At a recent meeting of the Kentucky chapter of the National Waste & Recycling Association (NWRA), chapter members received a gold plaque of the Congressional Record entry with the words spoken by Sen. Rand Paul (KY) on the floor of the Senate, which recognized NWRA for its 60th anniversary.
“We thank Sen. Rand Paul and his staff for their kind words and support of the waste and recycling industry in Kentucky and nationally,” said NWRA President and CEO Darrell Smith. “Our state chapters work hard to advocate for the industry at the local, state and federal levels. I am glad the Kentucky chapter was recognized for its outstanding advocacy efforts.”
