NWRA’s Kirk Sander Spoke about Standards Development at AI Roundtable

Arlington, VA – Kirk Sander, chief of staff and vice president of safety and standards for the National Waste & Recycling Association (NWRA), spoke about standards development at an event hosted by the Center for a New American Security on September 28.

“NWRA is the secretariat for ANSI standards,” said Sander. “I look forward to sharing how ANSI develops its standards and engages with stakeholders, including regulators. Artificial intelligence is moving into more and more industries. Standards help set expectations and a level playing field.”
