NWRA Safety Monday Reminds Waste Collection Drivers What to Do When Disabled on the Road
Arlington, VA – This week’s Safety Monday presented by GFL Environmental, reminds waste collection drivers what to do when disabled on the road.
“There are not many things worse than getting stranded while on your route,” said Kirk Sander, chief of staff and vice president of safety and standards for the National Waste & Recycling Association (NWRA). “Unfortunately, it happens, and we want our drivers to be prepared.”
“We are pleased to provide this industry-renowned safety resource to anyone who requests it,” said NWRA President and CEO Darrell Smith. “You do not need to be a member of NWRA to receive it.”
