NWRA Joins U.S. Plastics Pact

Arlington, VA – Today, the National Waste & Recycling Association (NWRA) has joined the U.S. Plastics Pact, a collaborative initiative along with The Recycling Partnership, World Wildlife Fund and Ellen MacArthur Foundation.

“NWRA is pleased to join the Plastics Pact. As a stakeholder in the recycling supply chain, we look forward to working with the other members of this effort,” said NWRA President and CEO Darrell Smith.

While the U.S. Pact complements and follows the ambitious precedents set by the existing global network of Plastic Pacts, it will be tailored to meet the unique needs and challenges of the U.S. market.
