NWRA’s Safety Monday Provides Tips to Prevent Injuries on Staircases
Arlington, VA – This week’s Safety Monday, presented by WM, provides important safety tips to avoid slips, trips and falls on staircases.
“The National Safety Council reports that stairway falls are a leading cause of injuries,” said Kirk Sander, NWRA chief of staff and vice president, safety and standards. “Using a handrail, wearing sturdy footwear and proper lighting are easy ways to avoid injuries from falls on staircases.”
