NWRA’s WasteRecycling magazine Wins Award of Distinction Communicator Award

Arlington, VA – The National Waste & Recycling Association (NWRA) is pleased to announce its magazine, WasteRecycling magazine, has won The Communicator Awards’ 2024 Award of Distinction Communicator Award in the Print Content–Magazine category. The Communicator Awards honor work that transcends craft and makes a lasting impact, and the Award of Distinction is presented to projects that exceed industry standards in quality and achievement.

“NWRA launched WasteRecycling magazine in 2022 with a goal of providing our members with a platform to tell their raw and real stories, as well as share what the Association is doing both on the frontlines and behind the scenes to ensure that our work is transparent to both our members and non-members,” stated Mallory Szczepanski, vice president of marketing and communications for NWRA. “It has been an honor to see the magazine flourish from a dream to a reality over the past two years and to be recognized for a passion NWRA and our members share: storytelling. We are grateful for this honor, which we share with our publisher Naylor Association Solutions.”

“Naylor is honored to collaborate with NWRA in producing WasteRecycling magazine,” said Benjamin A. Hopper, senior director of account management for Naylor Association Solutions. “This award underscores the diligent efforts and dedication to the industry demonstrated by both Naylor and NWRA.”

WasteRecycling magazine is the official quarterly publication of NWRA, the leading voice of the North American waste and recycling industry on advocacy, education and safety. The industry provides essential services that benefit our local communities and businesses by assisting our customers in achieving their environmental and sustainability aspirations.
