The National Waste & Recycling Association (NWRA) Florida chapter will meet in person on January 17-18 for a legislative fly-in. At this event, the chapter will present legislative champion awards to the House and Senate representatives supporting policies and initiatives beneficial to the waste and recycling industry.
Fly-in Tentative Agenda
Tuesday, January 17
11:00 a.m. – Arrive at Governor’s Club for Florida chapter meeting (election of officers), legislative updates and special guest speakers. Lunch will be served.
4:00 p.m. – Meetings will end; check into hotel
5:30 p.m. – Legislative Reception at Governor’s Club
7:00 p.m. – Dinner on your own
Wednesday, January 18
8:30 a.m. – Meet at Governor’s Club Lounge and then walk to Capitol
8:45-11:00 a.m. – Meetings in Capitol
11:30 a.m. – Lunch with Department of Environmental Protection at Governor’s Club
1:30 p.m. – Meeting adjourned
