Minnesota Chapter Annual Meeting

Join us for the NWRA Minnesota Chapter Annual Meeting, held on October 13 at the U.S. Bank Stadium, home of the Vikings. During the meeting, members will gather to discuss legislative and regulatory activity, including per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), organics, commercial drivers and other legislative initiatives.

Following guest speakers and a networking lunch, members will tour the U.S. Bank Stadium and hear about its sustainability practices. U.S. Bank Stadium aims to reduce its carbon footprint in all areas of operations, including but not limited to water reduction, waste reduction/diversion, energy efficiency, sustainable purchasing and the promotion of alternative transportation. As a LEED-certified stadium, much of the innovation is based on smart technology and providing efficient and sustainable solutions that make the event experience overwhelmingly excellent.

10:00 a.m. CT — Chapter Business Meeting, which will include a legislative and regulatory report and guest presentations from Peter Tester, temporary commissioner of the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency, and Kirk Koudelka, assistant commissioner of the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency.

12:00 p.m. CT — Networking Lunch

1:30 p.m. CT — U.S. Bank Stadium Sustainability Tour

All guests must enter the stadium through the Skyway entrance. Parking is available at the Mills Fleet Farm Ramp with immediate access into this entrance. For those using light rail or a rideshare service, please enter the Mills Fleet Farm Ramp lobby (740 4th Street) located on the Northwest corner of 4th Street and Chicago Avenue. Take the escalator or elevator up one level and enter the stadium via the Skyway entrance on your righthand side through the sliding glass doors. From there, stadium staff will guide you to the event space.
