NWRA Women’s Council President’s Conference

The National Waste & Recycling Association’s (NWRA) 2022 Women’s Council President’s Conference, hosted by President Pam Caron with Risk Strategies Company, is scheduled for the week of November 7 in Boston! The Women’s Council is dedicated to advancing and promoting the waste and recycling industry, along with giving back to our member companies through education, networking, professional development and the award of academic scholarships.

The yearly Woman’s Council conference gives the NWRA Women’s Council members an opportunity to come together and participate in professional development sessions, tours, team-building activities, meals and fun activities.

6:00 p.m. Welcome reception at Fin Point with guest speaker(s)

November 8
7:30-8:30 a.m. Breakfast at hotel
8:45 a.m. Depart hotel for Risk Strategies office
9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Professional Development, networking sessions and catered lunch
1:15 p.m. Depart back to hotel
2:00 p.m. Walk to historic Faneuil Hall/Quincy Market
3:00-5:00 p.m. Improv Asylum for team-building activities
5:15 p.m. Explore Boston’s famous Italian North End followed by group dinner

November 9
7:30-8:30 a.m. Breakfast at hotel
8:45 a.m. Depart hotel for Fenway Park Tour
9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Fenway Park Tour including sustainability session and meeting with Lovin’ Spoonful representatives
12:15 p.m. Depart for lunch at traditional Boston seafood restaurant
2:45-4:15 p.m. Board Boston Duck Tours for an exciting adventurous tour on both land and water
5:45 p.m. Depart for notable Boston landmark for cocktail hour and dinner for a truly quintessential Boston experience
