The members will gather for a chapter meeting focusing on legislative work and safety. A business meeting will be held in the morning and will include chapter elections, a legislative report and an update on the multi-rule packages under review. Following a networking lunch, members will hear from guest speakers. Vlad Cica, division chief, Ohio Environmental Protection Agency’s Division of Materials and Waste Management, will speak first. Then, Ryan Fogelman, vice president of strategic partnerships, Fire Rover, will address the status of facility fires and prevention. Lastly, the Ohio Trucking Association will discuss distracted driving legislation and commercial driver’s license shortages.
