We wish we could gather in person for our Oklahoma Chapter Legislative Meeting, but this year our meeting will be conducted virtually via Teams.
In Oklahoma, the deadline for the introduction of House bills and joint resolutions is Thursday, January 21. The Oklahoma NWRA Chapter Lobbyist Tom Rogers will provide an outline of these bills/resolutions to the chapter on January 28, prior to the first regular session of the 58th Oklahoma Legislature convening. Chapter members will vote on which bills will be of priority that impact the waste and recycling industry. The chapter will also discuss any other key issues and initiatives for the 2021 calendar year.
