December 6 Report:
The Indiana Chapter met in October for the annual Chapter meeting in Indianapolis. Election of officers was held with the following results:
Chair – Brad Eisenhart
Vice Chair – Andy Harris
Board of Governors – Brad Eisenhart
Alternate Board of Governors – Andy Harris
During the meeting, Golf Chair, Bruce Schmucker reported a successful outing this past May. Revenue was up this year, and the members enjoyed an enhanced registration process with many remarking of the ease and efficiency.
The group received an update from the Commissioner of the Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM), Brian Rockensuess. Commissioner Rockensuess thanked the members for their collegiality over the years and especially during the recent legislative session. When the legislature reconvenes in January, some modification to the environmental permit fee statute is anticipated.
