NWRA is the leading voice at the federal, state, and local levels on legislative and regulatory issues, working to improve the business climate for our industry and progressibely make our industry safer, smarter and stronger. NWRA and its chapters work with government officials to educate them on NWRA members' priorities. NWRA also participates in legal cases in federal and state courts affecting members, and the waste and recycling industry as a whole.

NWRA's statistics program provides members, the industry, and the public with economic analysis, data, and trends on the waste and recycling industry. This data helps you develop better business plans, provides growth projections and comparative analysis.
Since 2007, NWRA’s Waste Industry Marketplace has the easiest way for NWRA members and other waste and recycling industry professionals to find the products and services you need without the clutter of an Internet search.
The Waste Industry Marketplace is a free program that promotes and encourages NWRA members to do business with other members, delivering a new level of value by directly connecting member businesses with special offers and promotions from other NWRA member companies.
