With new challenges and opportunities coming out of Washington, D.C., every day, there has never been a greater need for the waste and recycling industry to speak with a single, powerful voice—NWRA PAC.
While political participation by no means guarantees specific outcomes, supporting those candidates who share our values and positions on the issues helps ensure our industry has allies in the halls of Congress who are open to our point of view. This, however, requires having the resources to invest strategically in key races.
So, how do we reach this goal? It starts with you—right here, right now.
We must generate the contributions necessary to build a strong, well-funded NWRA PAC so we can back candidates who support free enterprise and our ability to serve customers.

President’s Council: $5,000 (annual amount) / $416.65 (12 monthly installments)
Chairman’s Circle: $2,500 (annual amount) / $208.24 (12 monthly installments)
Senatorial Club: $1,000 (annual amount) / $83.34 (12 monthly installments)
Congressional Club: $500 (annual amount) / $41.67 (12 monthly installments)
$1-A-Day Member: $365 (annual amount) / $30.42 (12 monthly installments)
Supporter: $250 (annual amount) / $20.84 (12 monthly installments)
Donor: $100 (annual amount) / $8.34 (12 monthly installments)
Federal law limits individuals to contributions of $5,000 per calendar year to a PAC.
Contributions are NOT DEDUCTIBLE for purposes of federal income taxes.
Only contributions from U.S. CITIZENS OR THOSE HOLDING A “GREEN CARD” indicating his or her lawful admittance for permanent residence in the United States may be accepted.
All contributions are voluntary and you may refuse to contribute without reprisal. The guidelines above are merely suggestions. You may give more or less than the guidelines suggest or nothing at all and NWRA will not favor or disadvantage anyone by reason of the amount of your contribution or decision not to contribute. Federal law requires us to use our best efforts to obtain and report the name, mailing address, occupation and employer for each individual whose contributions aggregate in access of $200 in a calendar year.
Political contributions are not deductible as charitable donations for the purposes of federal income tax. Federal law requires political committees to report the name, mailing address, occupation and the name of the employer for each individual whose contributions aggregate in excess of $200 in a calendar year. Corporate contributions are prohibited.
