The National Waste & Recycling Association (NWRA) released its requirements for a chief executive officer (CEO). The CEO serves as the “face and voice” for the Association and is responsible for the leadership, direction and overall management of the organization and its resources, including the recruitment, retention and management of high-performing staff.
The NWRA membership represents nearly 70% of the North American private waste and recycling services market. The waste and recycling industry provides essential services that benefit local communities and businesses in their environmental and sustainability aspirations.
