Darrell Smith Recognized by MSW Management Magazine with 2022 Innovator Award
Arlington, VA – National Waste & Recycling Association (NWRA) President and CEO Darrell Smith was recognized as one of MSW Management magazine’s Innovators of 2022. Smith received the award for his work to transform the advocacy and financial performance of NWRA since his hiring in 2017.
“Any award won by a staff member at NWRA is an award for the entire staff and our dedicated members. We all work hard at NWRA to show real results and achieve great things for the industry. We are proud that our efforts are recognized, and we thank MSW Management for the attention this award brings to the Association,” said Darrell Smith. “There were many outstanding individuals recognized this year and I congratulate them all.”
