NWRA CEO Recognized for Support of National Guard

Arlington, VA – Darrell Smith, president and CEO of the National Waste & Recycling Association (NWRA), was recognized for his support of the National Guard by the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) program.

“The Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve takes this moment to honor one of our true patriots, NWRA President and CEO Darrell Smith, for supporting a D.C. guardsman, Jonathan Taylor,” said Diana Montoya, ESGR volunteer for the Northern Virginia area.

“I appreciate this award from ESGR,” said Smith. We are proud to support Jonathan, a First Lieutenant in the D.C. National Guard. We thank him for his service to our country and his work to support the national waste and recycling industry.”
