Arlington, VA – The National Waste & Recycling Association (NWRA) released a new infographic highlighting the size and significance of the waste and recycling industry to the domestic economy.

“The private sector waste and recycling industry is essential to maintaining the quality of American life in many different ways. NWRA’s member companies do important work while contributing more to the U.S. economy than most people realize. This infographic illustrates just how large our industry is and its overall economic impact,” said NWRA President and CEO Darrell Smith.
