NWRA Introduces Legal Bulletin

Publication Provides Important Analysis of Legal Issues and Trends Facing the Waste and Recycling Industry

Arlington, VA – The National Waste & Recycling Association (NWRA) has launched the NWRA Legal Bulletin, a publication available exclusively to the Association’s members. Legal Bulletin provides insights and analysis of issues important to the private sector waste and recycling industry. The first edition addresses the proposed rule from the Federal Trade Commission that would ban non-compete clauses in employment contracts and potentially nullify non-disclosure agreements.

“We are pleased to offer the Legal Bulletin to our members as an additional benefit,” said NWRA President and CEO Darrell Smith. “Our member companies face challenging and often confusing laws, regulations and legal issues that require legal analysis to cut through it all.”

The NWRA Legal Bulletin is available free of charge to any current member of NWRA. You may contact Jim Riley at jriley@wasterecycling.org for more information and to be placed on the publication’s distribution list.
