NWRA Joins Road to Zero Coalition

Arlington, VA– Last week, the National Waste & Recycling Association (NWRA) joined the Road to Zero Coalition, an effort led by the National Safety Council in partnership with the U.S. Department of Transportation to end road fatalities by 2050.

“NWRA is committed to making our industry safer. Our member companies have been diligent in providing advanced safety training for drivers and those who hop off the trucks to make collections. We are pleased to join the Road to Zero Coalition and look forward to working with our coalition partners to make our roads safer,” said NWRA President and CEO Darrell Smith.
