NWRA Promotes Three Staff Members, Expands Responsibilities for Two More
Arlington, VA – Darrell Smith, president and CEO of the National Waste & Recycling Association (NWRA), promoted three staff members and expanded the responsibilities of two more to better serve the Association’s members.
“We have talented staff, and I am pleased to announce the promotion of three staff members and the expansion of responsibilities of two more,” stated Smith. “NWRA is committed to providing our members with the tools and information necessary to thrive.”
Gabrielle McManus has been promoted to Human Resources Director & Executive Support to the Chief Executive Officer.
Jonathan Taylor will now serve as Manager, Government Affairs and Sunbelt Region. The addition of the Sunbelt to Taylor’s portfolio will allow him to help Vice President for State Affairs Abby Blocker manage the expansive region’s chapters that stretch from coast to coast.
Teddy Greissing was promoted to Manager, Government Affairs & NWRA PAC. Greissing adds NWRA’s Political Action Committee (PAC) to his responsibilities, an area with which he has previous experience, as the Association seeks to further grow its PAC and help the industry punch above its weight politically.
Brandon Wright, Vice President for Communications and Media Relations, will lead the Maryland chapter while Steve Changaris, Vice President, Northeast Region, will add Pennsylvania to his portfolio.
