NWRA Promotes Two Staff Members

Association Expands Roles and Responsibilities to Serve Members

Arlington, VA – The National Waste & Recycling Association (NWRA) announced the promotion of Jonathan Taylor to Director of Government & Political Affairs and Mallory Szczepanski to Vice President of Member Relations and Publications.

Taylor will continue to work on important government relations issues including the NWRA Political Action Committee and provide support to several NWRA chapters.

In her role, Szczepanski will be responsible for managing member relations; helping plan meetings and events; managing NWRA’s social media accounts, website and publications; and serving as the NWRA staff lead for the Education Committee, Membership Committee and Future Industry Leaders Alliance (FILA).

“As we remain focused on advocating for our members, it is important we have the best people in the proper roles. Jonathan and Mallory have done a remarkable job for us, and I congratulate them on their new responsibilities,” said NWRA President and CEO Darrell Smith.
