NWRA Receives Clean 2021 Financial Audit

NWRA Receives Clean 2021 Financial Audit

Arlington, VA – The National Waste & Recycling Association (NWRA) completed its 2021 financial audit. Its auditor, Marcum, LLP, found no issues and gave NWRA a clean audit.

“In our opinion, the financial statements referred to present fairly, in all material respects, the financial position of the National Waste & Recycling Association as of December 31, 2021, and the changes in its net assets and its cash flows for the years then ended in accordance with accounting principles generally accepted in the United States of America,” stated Marcum.

“At NWRA, we believe in being transparent,” said NWRA President and CEO Darrell Smith. “Any member of any nonprofit has the right to see audit results, but I am not aware of many that go ahead and offer up those results publicly. We are very proud of the financial stability we have achieved over the past few years, and it is our intent to only get better.”
