NWRA Reminds Waste Collection Drivers to Keep Eyes on the Prize
Arlington, VA – The National Waste & Recycling Association (NWRA) Safety Monday for this week, presented by the National Safety Council, reminds waste collection drivers to keep their eyes on the road.
“Drivers on cell phones see just a fraction of their driving environment,” said Kirk Sander, chief of staff and vice president of safety and standards for NWRA.
“We are pleased to provide this industry-renowned safety resource to anyone who requests it,” said NWRA President and CEO Darrell Smith. “You do not need to be a member of NWRA to receive it.”
