NWRA Safety Monday Encourages a Tidy Workspace

Arlington, VA – This week’s Safety Monday, presented by Waste Management, is a reminder that good housekeeping habits can prevent workplace injuries.

“Housekeeping is an important part of any facility’s fire prevention process,” said Kirk Sander, chief of staff and vice president of safety and standards for the National Waste & Recycling Association (NWRA). “It empowers employees to mitigate unnecessary risks.”

“We are pleased to provide this industry-renowned safety resource to anyone who requests it,” said NWRA President and CEO Darrell Smith. “You do not need to be a member of NWRA to receive it.”
