NWRA Safety Monday Encourages an Organized Cab

Arlington, VA – This week’s Safety Monday, presented by Republic Services, is a reminder that good housekeeping habits can prevent workplace injuries.

“Housekeeping extends to the inside of the cab,” said Kirk Sander, chief of staff and vice president of safety and standards for the National Waste & Recycling Association (NWRA). “Items and trash on the dash impede vision and become dangerous in an accident.”

“We are pleased to provide this industry-renowned safety resource to anyone who requests it,” said NWRA President and CEO Darrell Smith. “You do not need to be a member of NWRA to receive it.”
