NWRA Safety Monday Reminds Waste Collection Workers to Practice Good Housekeeping
Arlington, VA – This week’s Safety Monday, presented by Interstate Waste Services, reminds waste collection workers to practice good housekeeping habits.
“Housekeeping is one the easiest ways to avoid incidents in the workplace,” said Kirk Sander, chief of staff and vice president of safety and standards for the National Waste & Recycling Association (NWRA). “A clean space is safe space.”
“We are pleased to provide this industry-renowned safety resource to anyone who requests it,” said NWRA President and CEO Darrell Smith. “You do not need to be a member of NWRA to receive it.”
