NWRA Safety Monday Offers Tips to Prevent Heart Disease 

Arlington, VA – This week’s Safety Monday, presented by WM, offers tips to prevent heart disease.

“Research has shown a link between gum disease and heart disease,” said Kirk Sander, chief of staff and vice president of safety and standards for the National Waste & Recycling Association (NWRA). “This Safety Monday offers five important tips to prevent heart disease.”

“We are pleased to provide this industry-renowned safety resource to anyone who requests it,” said NWRA President and CEO Darrell Smith. “You do not need to be a member of NWRA to receive it.”
