NWRA Safety Monday Reminds Waste Collection Workers to Dress for Winter Weather

Arlington, VA – This week’s Safety Monday, presented by Leck Waste Services, reminds waste collection workers to dress for winter weather.

“We want our waste collection workers to dress for success to avoid cold weather exposure injuries,” said Kirk Sander, NWRA chief of staff and vice president, safety and standards. “Your ears, nose, fingers and toes are the most susceptible areas to frostbite.”
