NWRA Safety Monday Reminds Waste Collection Workers to Have a Safe Thanksgiving
Arlington, VA – This week’s Safety Monday, presented by Mazza Recycling, offers important tips to have a safe Thanksgiving holiday.
“The greatest number of home cooking fires occur on Thanksgiving,” said Kirk Sander, chief of staff and vice president of safety and standards for the National Waste & Recycling Association (NWRA). “We want everyone to have a safe and enjoyable holiday with family and friends.”
“We are pleased to provide this industry-renowned safety resource to anyone who requests it,” said NWRA President and CEO Darrell Smith. “You do not need to be a member of NWRA to receive it.”
