NWRA Staff Adds Credentials while Adding Credibility to the Association
Arlington, VA – The National Waste & Recycling Association (NWRA) is committed to maintaining the highest quality Association staff in support of our industry. In recent weeks, the following employees have added professional credentials behind their names.
From the International Society of Sustainability Professionals, Steve Changaris, Northeast regional vice president, earned the Certified ISSP Sustainability Associate (ISSP-SA) designation.
Rohan Wilson, intern, earned the Certified ISSP Sustainability Associate (ISSP-SA) designation from the International Society of Sustainability Professionals. Wilson’s accomplishment is awe-inspiring as he prepared for this exam while completing his other duties as an NWRA intern in just a few months.
Darrell Smith, president and CEO, passed the Certified Senior Business Strategy Professional (C-SBP) exam from The Strategy Institute and the Certified Nonprofit Professional (CNP) exam from the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance.
“When we shine, our industry shines,” said Smith.
Many other NWRA staff continue to prepare for professional certification exams as part of our ongoing Talent Development Project. NWRA stands out in many ways, including our recent Summit Award. Additionally, NWRA was designated as a Great Place to Work.
