NWRA Staff Partners with National Park Service to Clean Up Area Park 

Arlington, VA – Staff from the National Waste & Recycling Association (NWRA) spent several hours with staff from the National Park Service collecting waste from Roaches Run Waterfowl Sanctuary.

“Our member companies work hard every day to help keep their communities clean,” said NWRA President and CEO Darrell Smith. “Roaches Run is near our office and is home to many migrating birds like ducks and geese. We are pleased to work with the National Park Service to help clean up an important natural resource.”

NWRA staff collected 78 bags of waste from Roaches Run.
