NWRA Urges Congress to Permanently End the Death Tax

Arlington, VA – The National Waste & Recycling Association (NWRA) joined other organizations on letters to congressmen and senators urging support for legislation that would permanently repeal the federal estate tax. Without Congressional action, certain temporary exemptions will expire.

“Small family-owned businesses are the engine of our economy,” said NWRA President and CEO Darrell Smith. “We urge senators and congressmen to support the repeal of the federal estate tax and bring real relief to family-owned businesses.”
