NWRA’s Safety Monday Reminds Drivers to “Pack Your Patience” this Holiday Season
Arlington, VA – The National Waste & Recycling Association (NWRA) Safety Monday for this week, provided by Republic Services, reminds waste collection drivers to prepare for more travelers on the roads this holiday.
“Added traffic, inclement weather and lost motorists can try your patience,” said Kirk Sander, chief of staff and vice president of safety and standards for NWRA. “It is important that waste collection drivers pack their patience and never let the stress get to them.”
“We are pleased to provide this industry-renowned safety resource to anyone who requests it,” said NWRA President and CEO Darrell Smith. “You do not need to be a member of NWRA to receive it.”
