NWRA’s Safety Monday Reminds Waste Collection Workers to Remove Obstructions to Safety

Arlington, VA – This week’s Safety Monday, presented by Recology, reminds waste collection workers to remove obstacles, materials and debris to create a safe workspace for employees and customers alike.

“Every item should have a place within the workplace,” said Kirk Sander, NWRA chief of staff and vice president, safety and standards. “Taking the necessary steps now to maintain an organized workspace can prevent accidents and injuries in the future.”
