NWRA’s Safety Monday Reminds Waste Collection Workers to Take Care of Your Heart
Arlington, VA – The National Waste & Recycling Association (NWRA) Safety Monday for this week, presented by Republic Services, reminds drivers to show their hearts some love.
“February is heart health month,” said Kirk Sander, chief of staff and vice president of safety and standards for NWRA. “It is important that waste collection workers take care of their heart, and our Safety Monday this week provides some tips.”
“We are pleased to provide this industry-renowned safety resource to anyone who requests it,” said NWRA President and CEO Darrell Smith. “You do not need to be a member of NWRA to receive it.”
