NWRA’s Safety Monday Reminds Workers to Prevent Slips, Trips and Falls in the Workplace
Arlington, VA – This week’s Safety Monday, presented by GFL Environmental, reminds waste collection workers to follow workplace safety tips to avoid slips, trips and falls.
“Data shows that more injuries occur from falls at ground level than from a height,” said Kirk Sander, NWRA chief of staff and vice president, Safety and Standards. “It is important that workers use three points of contact when entering and exiting a vehicle and use proper footwear to remain safe.”
