Public Comment Open for Z245.42 Standard
Arlington, VA – The National Waste & Recycling Association (NWRA), the secretariat, is seeking comments on ASC Z245.42. This standard establishes safety requirements for the design, manufacture, construction, modification, maintenance and operation of waste transfer stations used in collecting, storing and transporting commingled waste and recyclable materials.
“I appreciate the hard work of the Z245 Committee to develop these standards,” said Kirk Sander, chief of staff and vice president of safety and standards for NWRA. “We look forward to the comments. These standards are designed for improved safety.”
