Arlington, VA – The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) has published a request for comments for the updates to ASC Standards Z245.2 and Z245.5. The updated standards aim to bring greater simplicity and effectiveness to baler and compactor operations and manufacturing.
“I appreciate the hard work of the Z245 Committee to revise these standards. It has been several years since the last revision,” said Kirk Sander, chief of staff and vice president of safety for the National Waste & Recycling Association (NWRA). “The updated standards are designed for improved safety and clarity.”
