Trash to Treasure: NWRA Women’s Council Unleashes Carts on Display, an Exciting Art Extravaganza at WasteExpo

Arlington, VA – The National Waste & Recycling Association (NWRA) Women’s Council is thrilled to announce the launch of Carts on Display, a wild and wacky art competition that is set to excite the 2024 WasteExpo from May 6-9 in fabulous Las Vegas! Entrants in the competition may supply their own 32-gallon cart or a 64-gallon cart will be provided to them by Toter, a division of Wastequip. Entrants are encouraged to let their creativity shine with artwork to reflect our amazing waste and recycling industry.

Get ready to be blown away as participants transform their carts into eco-extravagant masterpieces! Here’s the 2024 plot twist: introducing “The People’s Choice” award. WasteExpo attendees can now cast their votes and choose their absolute favorite cart creation, too!

“I am thrilled to invite all trailblazers and eco-art enthusiasts to join us for Carts on Display at WasteExpo,” stated Kerri Mead-Bell, president of the NWRA Women’s Council. “This art extravaganza is not just about transforming carts; it is a celebration of creativity and the vibrant spirit of our waste and recycling community. With the exciting addition of The People’s Choice award, we empower attendees to participate in this fun program.”
